Mouse in the House!!

SOMEONE isn't doing their job at casa de Culwell, Smith e Pevehouse. You see, we currently have a very small (albeit cute) MOUSE having a party in our house right now. Sitting in one's bedroom and noticing something very small and with a tail scurrying along the side of the wall is not fun, especially when you own a cat that's supposed to be catching mice. Instead, Lainey [pictured above and left] likes to sit around the house, lounging away in her free place to live, getting up briefly to eat her free food or drink her free water. All the while, she has a job in our house that she seems to be mostly unaware of. Sometimes we catch her staring under the refrigerator which is where we're pretty sure this mouse is living, but she could just be lounging in a different spot.

So what has it come to? We bought traps. They're little round things that lure mice in with the promise of peanut buttery goodness only to trap them inside and either snap their neck or let them wait to starve to death. I'm unsure of the specifics. The important part is that when it catches a mouse, I don't have to see it. The end.

We will keep you updated on this late breaking story here on the LogBlog as more news becomes available.
